Leadership Team

Bronwyn Spira

Chief Executive Officer
Bronwyn Spira is a physical therapist and entrepreneur with 20+ years of clinical and managerial experience in multiple healthcare settings. She founded Force Therapeutics to solve her own patients’ care delivery challenges and help them stay connected and in control of their care. Prior to founding Force, Bronwyn ran the Inpatient Rehab department at Rusk Rehabilitation Center at NYU Langone Health before founding and running a successful NY based multi-clinic practice. She received her Masters degree in Physiotherapy from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.

Mark Lieberman

Mark Lieberman is the President & Co-Founder of Force Therapeutics. Mark received his MBA from Harvard Business School and BS in Genetic Engineering from Princeton University. Mark's leadership in health care innovation spans roles as a senior business development executive at Merck & Co, an executive at the biopharmaceutical company, Imclone Systems, and as a health care investment banking partner at Montgomery Securities. For the last 15 years, Mark has been a serial entrepreneur and private equity investment partner. He co-founded Thomas Weisel Capital Partners, a $2.5 Billion Private Equity firm, served on its operating committee and became co-head of Tailwind Capital Partners, its venture capital arm. Separately, Mark is a three time Emmy nominated TV producer and creator of one of the longest running arts TV series on PBS which has shaped the quality of educational and animated content at Force.

Ruth Sun

Chief Operating Officer
Ruth Sun serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Force Therapeutics and brings over 20 years of experience in successfully applying technologies to solve complex business challenges. In this role, Ruth is responsible for driving strategic expansion strategies that ensure long-term growth and value for clients in the healthcare industry, as well as scaling and managing all front office functions. Prior to Force, Ruth served as Vice President, Global Business Development at Welltok, where she led executive sales leadership to drive top-line growth and launched the company’s global expansion. She previously served in strategic leadership roles at Blackboard, Inc., Deloitte Consulting, and IBM Corporation. At IBM, Ruth was Managing Director for IBM Watson Health, where she led global expansion and executive leadership for cognitive computing solutions for large health systems. With a BA in Marketing, MBA from Emory University-Goizueta Business School, and Healthcare Solutions Certification from Harvard University, Ruth brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the healthcare industry. Ruth comes from a family of healthcare professionals and enjoys discussing ideas with her husband who is a doctor, and looks forward to doing the same with her daughter who is pursuing a career in medicine.

Amy Babington

VP, Client Success & Strategy
Amy Babington joined Force in March 2014, and has built out a successful team responsible for supporting the patient and provider end users of the Force platform. In her tenure, she has been an integral part of the team to build out important functions and determine the needs of Force’s client base and market. Amy graduated from Villanova University and started her career at S&P Capital IQ, then spent several years as an equity research associate covering consumer stocks for Janney Capital Markets. Last year, Amy got to experience first hand the power of the Force platform as a patient after recovering from an ACL surgery.

Christopher Young

Director, Product
Christopher Young comes to Force Therapeutics with over 10 years experience building complex product solutions in the B2B tech space. In this role Chris is responsible for driving the strategic vision of Force's product offerings, adapting to the complex and evolving needs of the healthcare industry to build functionality that maximizes Force's value to health systems. Chris is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and prior to Force, served in a variety of product leadership roles at a number of SMB + enterprise software companies. Chris' family has strong ties to the tech startup world as his brother and sister are also tech executives and his late father, William, was a founding officer in the 1990s at Prodigy Online Service and AT&T Worldnet.

Jen Thomas

Head of Growth
Jen Thomas is a strategic sales leader with more than 15 years of experience successfully serving large U.S. health systems to deliver accelerated business value with enterprise technology solutions. As the Head of Growth, she leads national sales efforts for the company. She is recognized for developing sales teams, growing revenue and building sales infrastructure. Previously, she served as Regional Vice President of Sales at HealthcareSource, the leading provider of talent management solutions for the healthcare industry.

Sarah Ulcoq

VP, Clinical Solutions & Research
Sarah Ulcoq brings over 10 years clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist to Force Therapeutics and has firsthand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities that providers face in a rapidly changing healthcare market. Over the last 5 years at Force, Sarah has been key in developing clinical protocols for health systems nationwide. Sarah has also implemented a winning research network and team studying relevant topics such as opioid sparing, web-based PT and more. With a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Occupational Therapy, Sarah has firsthand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities that providers face in a rapidly changing healthcare market. Sarah is an Aussie and moved to New York City 7 years ago. She enjoys travel, red wine and is passionate about disrupting the US healthcare system.

Stephen Johnston

VP, Engineering
Stephen is a software engineer with over 15 years of experience with building applications for the web. As the VP of Engineering at Force, Stephen has a hand in all things relating to the technology from initial inception of the web and mobile apps to securing and maintaining the infrastructure and growing the Engineering team. Before relocating to New York City, Stephen was in Silicon Valley where he had the opportunity to work in the burgeoning tech startup scene. Stephen was previously the lead developer at which was acquired by Groupon. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin. Stephen enjoys writing music when he isn't writing code.
